The India Story’s Home Edit section was a comprehensive shopping hub. With an array of brands and items, one could pick something to add an aesthetic touch to any indoor space. The Telegraph spoke to Vedika Kejriwal of The Design Mill, who curated THE HOME EDIT at TIS:

What was the thought process behind curating the Home Edit?

We have tried to get brands from different parts of India to represent at this exhibition. They are up and coming or are prominent in their own cities. But we wanted to introduce them to Kolkata. We got brands from Delhi, Surat and Bombay.

How did you decide on the brands?

We reached out to a lot of different brands. The idea was to have a variety of different products and brands from across the country and have them present and available in the city.

How did the collaboration come about with The India Story?

I also have my own pop-up, The Design Mill. This time, we have collaborated with The India Story for home solutions. This is the first time we are doing the event here and this edit of The India Story was a great experience to begin with. We got the kind of exposure we were looking for.
