Prathaa is a socially and environmentally conscious brand committed to provide sustainable livelihood to weaver and artisan communities. Currently it works with the craft and weaving communities of Kutch and Bengal.

Due to lack of proper remuneration, weavers and artisans are leaving their professions and shifting towards other jobs. Prathaa intends to educate the end-consumers on mindful buying so that a demand for these crafts can be created.

The brand, based in Mumbai, was founded by Sukanya Bhattacharya (above). She started Prathaa after a long, enriching stint in the corporate world.

Atulya Herbals is a head-to-toe brand, which defines itself as rooted in nature’s richness and is committed to promoting self-care that is healthy and nurturing. The brand is part of Beacon Bio Life.

Atulya Wine Grape Fruit Natural Lip Balm (above), for example, adds a tinge of red to chapped lips while moisturising and nourishing them. It contains essential oils and herbal extracts. It can also be used as a lip primer before adding lipstick.
