What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion to me means comfort, individuality and a good fit.
How would you define your sense of style?
My sense of style is basic yet experimental.
What are you most comfortable in?
My trackpants, T-shirt and my trainers.
Aparshakti in Pati Patni Aur Woh Still from the film
What are the three most prized possessions in your wardrobe?
I love my Rick Owens glasses, my Breitling and Franck Muller watches and then there is this very cool black Amiri T-shirt. I know that T-shirts are just basic but this one is very special. I just love it. I bought it from Australia about a year ago maybe, lekin main usko bahut baar pehen chuka hoon (laughs). It’s just so comfortable and I love the style.
What are the five things every man should have in his wardrobe?
A good pair of denims to start with. A nice white T-shirt or shirt. A pair of comfortable running shoes teamed with a comfortable pair of trackpants. It’s also really important to have a nice black suit. And finally, if someone is very keen then a pair of Daddy Sneakers — those really big sneakers which are really ‘in’ right now. But it’s not an all-time classic for sure.
What was the craziest fashion phase you went through?
We all look at our past pictures and think, ‘Dude, what was I thinking?!’ I think my craziest fashion phase was in school.
Name one piece of clothing you can’t do without.
My most comfortable pair of denims.
Which is your favourite look from a film of yours?
I have done a song called Ruka ruka with Shalmali Kholgade... I love my look in it. In terms of films, I quite like my look in Pati Patni Aur Woh.
