We spare no effort to take care of our face. We slather it with creams and lotion to keep it healthy, nourished and radiant. But what about the hands?

Ironically the hands are one of the busiest parts of the body and the most ignored ones too, from before the times of coronavirus. They are one of the first areas that start displaying the signs of aging. Hence it is important to take care of your hands to prevent them from looking dull and sallow.

We have listed a few DIY scrubs that can help moisturise and soften your hands.

What you need

  • Almond and honey and milk as required.
  • Powdered almond acts as an excellent exfoliator. Honey is a natural emollient that relieves dryness and improves skin texture.

Method: Grind a handful of almonds to a fine powder and add half teaspoon of honey and enough milk to make a smooth paste. Massage this mixture on your hands for 5 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Do this three times a week and see the difference.

Foot detox

Foot detox removes toxins and heavy metals from the body through the feet.

Benefits

  • Balances the body’s pH factor
  • Reduces swelling
  • Boosts mood
  • Relieves stress
  • Increases immunity

Method

Apple cider vinegar soak

To make a detox bath using apple cider vinegar add 1 cup of the vinegar to a tub of warm water and soak your feet in for 20 to 30 minutes. Vinegar also deodorises the feet.
