Sonaakshi Raaj’s Nastasia has a fairy tale feel with her muse in dreamy costumes. The snow-clad Kashmir adds to the charm. The summer festive range has quite a variety including lehnga skirts, gowns, tasselled saris in organza, net, tulle, satin, lilac, sky, sorbet, ‘Carmen red’, ‘sunset ochre’ and ‘Noir Amethyst’. Can you tell us about the inspiration behind the name?

Nastasia is a girl who is born in the snow, loves the snow and is celebrated like the snow goddess. It’s my love for snow that translated into the mystical mood board of this collection. With romantic silhouettes and a luscious palette, it is a collection true to my brand. Glamorous, feminine and luxe.

It looks romantic and red carpet. What kind of a muse did you have in mind for this?

The biggest star in our galaxy is the muse for my collection.

What are the highlight pieces?

I love them all, as they all are close to my heart, but if I have to pick one it would be the lavender tasseled blouse sari with the serpentine pallu belt.
