High heels, fancy bags, cool outfits, women from different walks of life were ready to party on August 20 as they made their way into South City Mall. The destination was Sephora, the beauty store on the ground floor. The one-stop cosmetics den was abuzz for their event ‘Estee Lauder x Davina Thacker’ that saw the luxury beauty brand having fun with make-up and activities. Hosted by fashionista and influencer Davina Thacker, people from across the city experimented with the luxury beauty products over nibbles and sips.
The rejuvenating Advanced Night Repair serum was the highlight, proving to be an essential in one’s skincare regimen because of its multifaceted nature as it treats all your skin concerns at once. The ladies were first pampered with invigorating ‘power nap’ facials, which left their skin looking healthy and refreshed with a beautiful glow. Later, they were treated to makeovers and had the chance to pick any make-up look they wished and have it created by the experts at Sephora using Estee Lauder’s products. The indulgent affair left them looking absolutely gorgeous and ready to party the night away in their glamorous avatars!
The guests were spoiled for choice owing to Estee Lauder’s wide range of products. Their concealers and foundations were exceptionally popular because of their lightweight formulas while the mascara, blushes and lipsticks were also hot favourites.
Davina Thacker, host of the party, looked party-ready in a stunning white-and- blue pleated number. “The idea was to make the guests indulge in a fun pamper session because we all need it. It was a Saturday well spent,” she said.
