  1. Choose your people: Surround yourself with people who are positive.
  2. Choose your words: Speak positive, also to yourself. Keep your thoughts positive.
  3. Choose what you do: Accept both success and failure. Both are a part of life’s journey. Stay close to your feelings. Embrace your life as it is rather than as you wish it to be. Most important, practise gratitude.
  4. Choose your goals, plot your progress. First, believe in your progress. Then set a goal. There has to be a purpose behind your goal. You need to be stay focused. Commitment is very important.
Perhaps you could have a mentor.
  5. Choose mindfulness. It teaches us how to respond to stress with awareness of what is happening in the present moment rather than simply acting instinctively. Read books, don’t stress yourself too much.

Last, but not the least, readjust your relationship with money. Many are sinking into depression because of loss of income. Remain calm and in a balanced way weigh your current professional opportunities.
