I am a 17-year-old girl and love fashion. I spend more time on Insta than on sleep. I live, breathe and post fashion — all organic, all through the night. But all this is lost on my boyfriend. Before meeting him , I spend a lot of time to dress up, but he hardly even comments on how I look! I think he doesn’t even notice. This makes me mad.

I feel like slapping him.

Did you slap him? On a more serious note, I think you are the reason influencers can scrape together a living. But your boyfriend may be that rare being who looks through your make-up and dress, right into your soul. In that case, spend more time on him than on Insta.

I am a very social person and I like to party a lot. I don’t like to repeat my outfits. In fact, none in my circle does. But unlike some others, I can’t keep buying new clothes endlessly. So I feel very stressed. I have started to say no to parties though I really really want to attend them. I have tried mixing and matching. But someone is always there who looks at me that way and I know she knows. What to do?

I can tell you that there are zillions of ways to wear old clothes in a new way – rip it, reverse it, dye it, knot it, layer it or wear it upside down. Or rent clothes. You get to wear designer stuff for one-tenth or even less than the original price.

But you know what? Old clothes are old clothes and that pair of eyes will always be there. Just don’t look at her. And pointedly drop her from all your selfies. The future will know how hot you were and not how many times you wore your only Sabya — and she won’t even be there!

I am a 40-year-old man. I have sweaty armpits. In my profession I have to be in formal cotton shirts most of the time. The sweat marks make me feel extremely uncomfortable to be with other colleagues. I am also afraid to date. I have tried several anti-perspirants and deodorants. Is there a solution to this?

Umm, the story goes that after Roman gladiators worked up a sweat, they were anointed with perfumed oil and then their bodies were scraped with a tool to collect the sweat, This was then bottled up and sold off as an aphrodisiac. Well, I am not exactly suggesting you add some sweat equity to your sweaty issues. All I am saying is don’t sweat the small stuff. It maybe to your advantage. However, if you really want to mask it, try absorbent underarm shields, talcum powder or towels.
