Siobhan Roy from Succession is the ultimate example of a boss bitch, with enough moolah to buy this country. Succession is a crazy, mind-bending tale of the uber-rich where Siobhan ‘Shiv’ Roy, daughter of media mogul Logan Roy, is played by Sarah Snook. Her style statement is understated in monochrome, taking few liberties like her glorious satin green dress worn to her brother Kendall Roy’s birthday in the latest episode of season three. While she can afford to (literally) wrap herself in the satin and mulmul shirts she does, we fell in love with this all-beige outfit that she wore in season two. We know we would find a fiery list of luxury brands if we were to ask her for outfit deets, however, we decided to find more affordable options closer home.

Recreating Jodie Comer's Villanelle from Killing Eve look
Recreating television looks and you really thought we would forget our lovely old Villanelle from Killing Eve, played to perfection by Jodie Comer?! Of course not! Has there been a more exciting, gorgeous and well-dressed villain than Villanelle? Her ruthless ways begin to seem appealing because of her sartorial choices. However, the one look that we can’t help thinking about often is her in Amsterdam, dressed in a pink oversized shirt and a flouncy fuchsia skirt that are teamed with vintage Christian Lacroix earrings. We have seen her shopping sprees after a particularly satisfying murder so for a trendsetter like her, these clothes have most definitely fallen off from the latest season of fashion week. Here’s us telling you a cheaper way to recreate it!
Recreating Hailee Steinfeld's Emily Dickinson look
Hailee Steinfeld is gorgeous as Emily Dickinson in Dickinson. A woman who managed to break rules even before they could be made, she defined what it meant to be a true ‘boss bitch’. However, it’s surprising that we found a look from the 1800s that we would want to recreate. Her red gown with matching bright lips left us wanting more and we found a way you can totally pull it off at the next winter ball. Also, did you really think we’d forget the matching red lips?!
Jennifer Aniston's Alex Levy look
Before we begin to tell you about our next character, can we just agree that Jennifer Aniston has taken an immortality potion and stopped ageing? Her recent television appearance as Alex Levy on The Morning Show that is also executive produced by her, has her going backwards in time serving power looks as the host of an early morning news programme on one of America’s leading national channels. However, it is in a moment of crisis and vulnerability that she goes to Italy at the beginning of a pandemic, to meet her former co-host, that she serves a look that makes us want to know more. Deemed the perfectly casual airport look, the short straps on her tan sling bag carried as a fanny pack with a matching beige double-breasted blazer that had us hooting for more! Here’s how you can get it!
Black leggings from Vero Moda @ Rs 1,000
RSVP by Nykaa Fashion @Rs 2,022
White T-shirt from Marks & Spencer @Rs 699
Black sweatshirt from Vance @ Rs 1,121
Recreating Emma Hernan's Selling Sunset look
Selling Sunset, the reality show on Netflix that follows the real estate agents employed at the Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles, defines what being boss women means. Some former actresses and models who don’t shy away from talking about their cosmetic surgeries and buying million dollar homes in LA, these women have forged a path of independence for themselves and can convince you shell out some extra bucks for your dream home. In the new season of the show, there is a new entrant Emma Hernan who has her fingers in multiple pies when it comes to business and aims to build her own empire. Her introductory outfit as she gets off a chartered flight with a Chanel tote in a red power suit definitely had us dropping our jaws.
Recreating Selena Gomez's Only Murders in the Building
One of the best true-crime shows that we have watched in recent times, Only Murders in the Building, we had Selena Gomez playing a cranky millennial Mabel who gets involved in solving a crime in her building. However, she also manages to serve some looks while she is at it! The dark humour aside, we love her in a sexy black glitter dress in a throwback memory of a Christmas party gone by. However, it’s her street style that had us gaping, be it her black turtleneck and beige short skirt combo or this outrageously yellow look with contract headphones! Deets here!
