1. Bibriti looks lost in romance as she walks down BBD Bagh in a polka-dotted off-white jamdani dress, styled with a sky blue oversized shirt. The chunky pearl earrings complement the polka dots and the tan belt is for shape. Olivia has the carefreeness of beachwear in mind in the white-and-blue bandana and tan gladiators. Wavy hair, bronze skin and brown lips add to the subtle charm.

Streetwear is like an ideal relationship. One that makes you happy and sets your free only to realise yourself. With billions of fans worldwide who have made this style their own, making it more eclectic, streetwear is a classic in many ways. Sayantan Sarkar and Olivia Sinha Roy crush on it too. The duo behind the three-month-old Vian, “a pret label for primarily younger online clients” that is available online, have designed and styled a streetwear-inspired lookbook for The Telegraph made up of “everyday clothes”, “neutral colours” and “a lot of separates”. “It is relaxed but styled like streetwear,” they say. 2. This one oozing “power dressing” vibes is Sayantan and Olivia’s favourite look from the whole shoot… a double-button trench jacket for men with straight pants. While the heavy gold antique neckpiece and stud break the monotony of the black, the oomph of the smokey eyes is enhanced by the pulled-back hair. Tan brogues add the right amount of edge as does the Verandah furniture store’s (Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road) rough-hewn walls.

3. This all-white look has an element of pristine cool. The old building near Telephone Bhavan adds an old-world warmth. Subhamita is in a khadi kurta, striped pants and waistcoat, paired with brogues. “Androgynous and understated,” describes Sayantan. Olivia has kept it minimal with silver earrings with a hint of gold, silver bracelet which is more like an anklet, and nude lips. Bibriti’s white-on-white polka jamdani kurta, which can be worn as a dress too, has an asymmetric neckline and her striped pants are gathered at the ankle. Brogues, silver chaandbalis and bangles complete the look.

4. Subdued drama and androgyny is the mood here. While Subhamita is dressed in an oversized shirt and flared straight pants with an asymmetrical hemline, Bibriti has slipped on a short jacket on a man’s kurta with salwar pants. Chunky neckpieces and smokey eyes add the feminine touch.

5. This black-and-white jamdani collection is all about the magic of mix-and-match layered with plenty of campus crispness. Subhamita’s white jamdani throw paired with a crop top and a pair of palazzo is Sayantan’s ode to jackets. “I love jackets as it does the trick for the entire outfit. It is an interesting interplay of structure and form,” says Sayantan, who fell in love with jackets after his visit to Italy. Black patent brogues, silver earrings and a heavy silver neckpiece complete the “simple yet dramatic” look. Olivia will keep this one aside for a sundowner. Bibriti’s angarkha-style black-and-beige jamdani kurta is striking. “The neckline is made interesting with a fold of a fabric. You can wear it as a dress too,” says Sayantan. Bibriti sports it with structured pants, golden tasselled earrings and black stilettos. The heritage backdrop of the Currency Building complements the languid modernity of the silhouettes.

6. Subhamita channels easy style in an anti-fit black dress made street cool with big hoops, strappy sandals, a stack of golden bangles and a multicoloured bandana. While Olivia picks this as daywear or for the beach, Sayantan feels the gold belt lends it a dose of glam.
