A BID (Association of Architects, Builders, Interior Decorators and Allied Business) organised a curtain-raiser event for Interiors 2023, an international architecture and design exhibition, in association with t2. Held on March 3 at The Oberoi Grand, the curtainraiser included a media conference that provided insight and information on what was to be expected at the upcoming exhibition to be held from March 16 - 20 at the Milan Mela ground. The event was attended by important persons from media and design, as well as various industry experts.
A celebration of design and creativity, the interiors exhibition will showcase innovative products from national and international brands like Asian Paints, Hitachi and others. This year’s theme is ‘Made in India’, and will feature over 232 stalls. At the exhibition, visitors will be greeted with displays by several brands committed to creating and enabling a comfortable lifestyle through appropriate architecture, interior design and allied business products and services.
The curtain-raiser for the event was inaugurated by chief guest Debashis Sen, chairman of New Town Kolkata Development Authority, and managing director, HIDCO. He was accompanied by actress Sohini Sarkar, ABID president Kamlesh Agarwal, secretary Karan Jain and exhibition coordinator Anjan Gupta. Snapshots.

Debashis Sen unveiled the model of a unique origami installation after the press conference. The aesthetically designed installation, named Oishi, will later be installed for public viewing at a suitable location in New Town.
