Sourav Ganguly cut a dapper picture at the shoot of Avidipta Phase II HIG, on EM Bypass, recently, of which t2 got an exclusive sneak peek. Like all of us, Sourav too spent a lot of time at home in the pandemic. “In spite of the pandemic, some or the other work kept happening and work from home became a rule for everyone. Some of the tables and chairs we hadn’t used before came into play because of the need to create an area for your own work.... You can enjoy your cup of tea, watch TV or sit with your computer or enjoy your holiday afternoon nap. A couch in one fine corner is also very crucial,” Sourav told t2.

The former skipper also gave us a sneak peek of his lockdown schedule. “I am fortunate enough to have a lovely verandah at my house, a long, wide verandah which overlooks the green gardens. Spending time there is also peaceful and relaxing, especially with a cup of tea. I love my biscuits. So, a couple of biscuits with a hot cup of Darjeeling tea, around 5 o’clock in the evening when the sun is going down... you enjoy it from your balcony, it’s very special. I have enjoyed the garden area as well. I exercised in that area. A walk around the swimming pool in the evening when it’s breezy feels great. It’s an Olympic-size pool. Home is home. Every individual finds his relaxing space in that, which is important. Hopefully in Avidipta II, we will provide comfort and relaxation for people,” he said.
