On October 1, on the auspicious ocassion of Shasthi, Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers unveiled a gold coin to celebrate UNESCO’s World Heritage status of Calcutta’s Durga Puja. Rupak Saha, director, Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers, presented the gold coin at the Puja mandap of Balllygunge Cultural association, to Saptarshi Basu, president of the Puja Organisation. Sudip Sen on behalf of Resource Indica was present at the event.

A film on the background of the project was also released with the gold coin. The mass media communication of the inaugral presentation of the project featured a relevant archival picture of a 2018 theme presentation at Kumartuli Sarbajanin Durgotsav.
