Ladies Study Group along with Prabha Khaitan Foundation hosted politician and author Shashi Tharoor at ITC Royal Bengal on November 18 for the unveiling of his new book The Less You Preach The More You Learn. This latest literary work of Tharoor, co-authored with his friend Joseph Zacharias, is based on aphorisms.

Using the art of literary expressions, the authors of the book have shared their insights and wisdom on several subjects, including success, insecurities, personal relationships, work and failure. Aphorisms as literary expressions guide us in forming a better understanding of a common situation; and this book, with the insights of the authors, has been written to perform a similar function.

Actress, philanthropist and politician Poonam Kaur moderated the event, making it an insightful evening for the members of the Ladies Study Group through her interaction with Tharoor, where Tharoor explained a few of the aphorisms he used in the book. Ghose reminisced how Tharoor’s previous books have been a history buff’s delight. Bhawna Agarwal, president of LSG, said: “It was an absolute pleasure for Ladies Study Group to collaborate with Prabha Khaitan Foundation for the launch of Shashi Tharoor’s latest book. The book is a must-read for everyone and is a treasure trove of wit and wisdom.”
