Arijit Singh is my go-to singer for uplifting my mood anytime. His soothing voice has a miraculous calming effect on me. From soulful songs like Enna sona, Aayat, Janam janam, Tera yaar hoon main, Ik vaari aa, Ve kamleya to sad songs like Naina, O bedardeya, Hum mar jayenge, Humari adhuri kahani to foot-tappers like Haan main galat, What jhumka?, Lutt putt gaya, Pasoori nu, Tere pyaar mein, Arijit Singh has an amazing repertoire of songs for each and every mood. These songs I mentioned are the songs that I listen to on loop.

P.S.: Apart from these songs, the song that I am listening to on loop at present is Numb Little Bug sung by Em Beihold. This song makes me feel better whenever I am having a hard time.

I’m all time hardcore fan of Shreya Ghoshal. I love all her songs. For me all her songs are best. Right now, I listen to these songs on loop: Sun raha he na, Jaadu hai nasha hai (the most exotic and evergreen song ever), Jao pakhi bolo, Jaani dekha hobe. I consider Shreya as the best female singer ever. Her voice clarity is unmatched. Music allows people to explore their feelings and emotions where sometimes words fall short.

I have a diverse taste in music and enjoy listening to a wide range of artists from classic legends like Md. Rafi, Manna Dey, Kishore Kumar to contemporary singers like Somlata, Ash King, Arijit Singh and Darshan Raval. I also have a soft spot for bands like Bhoomi, Fossils, Lokkhichhara, Chandrabindoo and Cactus since childhood days. I am a fan of reality music shows like Indian Idol and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and I admire gifted artists like Pawandeep Rajan, Kushal Paul, Abdul Shaikh and Albert Kabo Lepcha. Utkarsh Wankhede from Indian Idol Season 14 has won my heart with his heroic voice, soulful singing and dedication to music. His versions of songs like Satranga, Ore piya, Ae dil hai mushkil, and Kalank are favorites of mine. His musical concert with Shreya Ghoshal is truly a treat for music lovers. I love watching his videos on YouTube, especially his collaboration with other talented contestants like Obom Tangu and Menuka Poudel. I am excited to hear more of their songs and wish them the best for their musical journeys!

I would like to say that from 2014 there is only one band and loop that I have been listening to, and it is BTS. I don’t think that is going to change ever because it has already been 10 years counting me being an army and I see there is no going back once I decided to be one. Their music has given me confidence and emotional strength to do a lot of things in my life and I am really grateful for that. They have songs for literally every mood possible. So, them being in my playlist on a loop is not a new thing because I can relate with them at any point of time .To be honest, not only me, but there are millions of people who they have helped by their music. So, that is why I don’t think there is going to be any end of this loop for not only me but a lot of people. Also, I have been listening to Taylor Swift and Conan Gray and MITRAZ. So, yeah, there have been a lot of artists that have been on my loop recently.

I never stop gushing about the queen of hearts Taylor Swift. She tells dreamy stories, creates relatable characters and writes meaningful lyrics in her songs. She is one of the best musicians, songwriters of all time and wears many feathers in her hat. All of her songs are melodic masterpieces. No wonder her songs are chart-topping smashes.Another band that has made a larger than life impact is One Direction. Sadly, they went on a hiatus but they sure gave some amazing songs to jam onto. My list will be incomplete without BTS, the global sensation. They have offered groovy dance numbers, emotionally-charged anthems, vocal harmonies and excellent discography. These are a few of the artists I’m listening to on loop .

Listening to music is great both as a pastime and relieving myself from stress. I love Shreya Ghoshal’s beautiful, soothing voice that makes me forget all the rest. Closing my eyes and listening to her, I’m transported to a different world of sights and feelings that I cannot describe, soaring, tumbling, freewheeling through an endless diamond sky. Listening to Sonu Nigam’s songs with Shreya and Alka Yagnik are worth a shot. But only Shreya can lift the mood.
