Indian Institute of Hotel Management hosted the first-of-its-kind Arabian Food Festival on the evening of January 12. Held at CII - Suresh Neotia Centre in Salt Lake, it brought together a blend of culinary artistry and cultural revelry. A student-led initiative, it unveiled a vibrant showcase of refreshing Arabian flavours, at the same time drawing parallels between the rich culinary traditions of India and Arabia. Focusing on the essence of Arabian cuisine, the festival featured a menu meticulously curated by culinary experts to showcase the richness and diversity of Arabian gastronomy.
Besides celebrating the art of culinary craftsmanship, the festival also served as a platform for amalgamation between Indian and Arabian cultures. Students walked the ramp at a fashion show themed on ‘The Arabian Nights’, followed by the performance of a play that transported the audience to an enchanting Arabian era.
