Mahou Group, the largest beer company in Spain with a market share of 34 per cent, was founded in 1890, brewing and exporting beers across the globe. In 2012, they entered the Indian market and by 2014, Mahou India became the first subsidiary of the Spanish giant internationally. Winning various awards for their beers in India, the beer magnate is re-entering the Calcutta market — they had withdrawn from here for some time — releasing two classic Mahou beers and a new creation. Fernando Bustamante, CEO of Mahou India for almost two years, sat down with t2 to talk about his passions — beer, football and the company — at The Park.
