Turmeric latte or haldi doodh? If that has been a question on your mind, it has been weighing down famous people too.
Actor Anushka Sharma posted this question on her Instagram account from New Zealand. She could have been inspired by the excellent dairy products of NZ. But we, apparently, have to provide the answer.
Well, let us say this. When we have doodh haldi, we keep things basic. We just add turmeric, and maybe some sugar, or gur, or palm sugar, or honey to the milk. Maybe we also add black pepper, and ghee, if the chest is congested. When we have turmeric latte, usually at a fancy cafe, we have in it cinnamon, honey, ginger, vanilla and some gorgeous topping. The choice is yours.
But perhaps even you can call one thing the other, they will taste the same.
