The Calcutta Swimming Club (CSC) organised their Darts and Cricket Premier League, in association with TT, from January 24 to 29. The third edition of the Darts Premier League saw more than six teams and 50 players. Kolkata Royals won the league, becoming the most successful franchise in the league. The fourth edition of Cricket Premier League saw six teams and more than 70 players participating, with Credence Jehel Juggernauts lifting the trophy. “The Cricket Premier League is an extremely popular format right from the juniors to the veterans. Darts is probably the fastest-growing sport in the club circuit and like every year this year too new entrants to the league have become stars. I would like to thank our committee, conveners, captains and the staff of CSC for their exemplary efforts to make this a super successful event,” said Rahul Singhi, chairman, sports.

Neeraj Kajaria of the Kolkata Royals was awarded the Most Valuable Player. “This was nothing less than a pleasant surprise for me. The team members kept motivating me. It was a brilliantly organised event,” he said. He was handed over the trophy by Siddharth Jhunjhunwala.

Neha Saraiya, of Dartaholics was awarded the Highest Check. “It has been a fantastic experience playing in the CSC DPL as always. The camaraderie has been amazing and such a thrilling atmosphere. Such a well-organised and fun-filled event yet again by CSC. Winning the highest check and the runners-up of the tournament added to the excitement,” Neha said.
