Ensuring continuum of care to patients being transported from one hospital to another, Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd has completed its one year of operating ALS ambulances in Uttar Pradesh. In this one year tenure, the company has served over 1 lakh patients by providing them quality care and speedy transport from one hospital to another. The company looks forward to continuing the service in the years to come.

The Uttar Pradesh government every year hosts the MaghMela in the city of Prayagraj which falls in the months of January and February. This 50 day festival is a coming together of people from different walks of life. To offer medical emergency support to the people visiting this fair, ZHL provided its 30 ambulances to the government in addition to the existing 250 ALS ambulances running in the state. Out of these 30 ambulances, 28 ambulances were Basic Life Support Ambulances and 2 were ALS Ambulances designated especially to help the people visiting the Maghmela.
Advanced Life Support (ALS) care requires medical monitoring and care by a licensed EMT Paramedic and includes monitoring vital signs, advanced drug therapy, cardiac monitoring, oxygen and IV therapy. The ALS Ambulance is equipped with state-of-the-art heart and blood pressure monitoring equipment, pulse oximetry, IV pumps, oxygen delivery devices including a CPAP and advanced medications used to treat a variety of medical emergencies, provide pain relief, cardiac life support, airway support, among other things.
ZHL’s Emergency Medical Technician and Cluster Leader’s role in helping people has also been recognized and appreciated by the Chief Medical Officer at Kanpur Dehat for provided extended support during the visits of VVIPs such as the Hon'ble President of India, Hon'ble Prime Minister and Hon'ble Chief Minister between 1st June 2022 to 3rd June 2022 and ensuring care and availability of emergency medical services to the dignitaries.
ZHL Uttar Pradesh had received the contract for operating the 250 ALS ambulances in Uttar Pradesh on 16th August 2021. In pursuance to this, the company has also set up its ALS Response Centre (ARC) with a 5-seater command center facility. The company through its 250 ambulances serves all the 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
