Sagar Daryani, founder & CEO of Wow! Momo, said 2020 would be a year of such collaborations.

“As we begin to do business in the new normal post lockdown, collaborative growth is the way forward. We will be able to reach a wider audience at a lesser cost,” he said.

Wow! Momo will share a part of the revenue with CCD, which has over 1,000 coffee shops across the country, instead of paying a fixed rent.

Daryani said more such collaborations could follow in the future.

Footfalls at restaurants have plummeted during the pandemic as customers are wary of going out. Take away through food delivery apps have gone up but it is not as profitable when customers visit the premises.

Vinay A Bhopatkar, chief executive officer of Cafe Coffee Day, said the collaboration would bring the right synergy for its customers.
