BTL EPC, the engineering arm of the Shrachi Group, has set an ambitious target to reach ₹1,000 crore topline by end of this fiscal, attempting to grow business by 56 per cent during the period.
The EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) company concluded the last fiscal with a topline of ₹641 crore, reflecting a 24 per cent growth compared with FY23.
Ravi Todi, managing director, BTL EPC Ltd, said the capex being planned by the central PSUs and private sector companies in the power sector offer ample opportunities for outfits such as BTL which focus on material handling, EPC among others.
The company secured new contracts worth ₹413 crore (inclusive of GST), which include projects such as a ₹267-crore contract from BHEL for NTPC (2 X 800 MW) Lara TPS Stage-II, and a ₹96-crore contract for the by-product unit at SAIL-Bhilai and a ₹50-crore contract for underground mining conveyor supply.
