About His Background:
S.C. Sehgal, Chairman and Managing Director, Ozone Group of Companies, graduated from an ordinary college in Hastinapur which was more known for creating goons than successful learners. He was 19 of age when he started earning as a sales representative at Charak Pharmaceutical, ended up getting selected at Glaxo Pharmaceutical where his monthly salary was Rs. 500/-.
His Entrepreneurial Journey:
With a young mind and vision, Mr. Sehgal worked hard at GlaxoSmith. “I am on a mission of enabling people across the world to live longer and better by adding years to their life and life to their years.” Mr. S.C. Sehgal. With the same determination, ambition and vision, he decided to widen his horizons and start his own pharmaceutical company- Seagull Labs India Pvt Ltd. This company had 3 more members as managing directors. Soon by coming across unimaginable hurdles, Seagull Labs came out to be a success. But it is never wrong to say that success comes with a prize. When Seagull Labs faced issues of ‘power’ among the managing directors, Mr. S.C. Sehgal decided to step down and start his own company, Ozone Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in 1991.
