The Black Badge Cullinan Series II, targeting a younger, more adventurous clientele, delivers a sportier edge. This bolder interpretation of RollsRoyce s luxury is part of the automaker s strategy to attract a new generation of highnet-worth individuals.

Both models are available through Rolls-Royce dealers in Chennai and New Delhi, with deliveries set to begin by the end of 2024. India s inclusion as a market for the Cullinan Series II underlines the country s importance in the global luxury landscape.

British luxury car maker Rolls-Royce showcased the SUV Cullinan Series II in Chennai on Friday. PTI "The Cullinan Series II debut in India marks a major milestone for Rolls-Royce in the Asia-Pacific region," said Irene Nikkein, regional director for Asia-Pacific at RollsRoyce Motor Cars.

"Since its 2018 launch, the Cullinan has drawn a younger and more diverse clientele, becoming the most sought-after model in the brand's lineup. The Series II introduces fresh technology, refined design and new opportunities for customisation through Bespoke."

Under the hood, the Cullinan Series II is powered by a 6.75-litre V12 engine. Since Cullinan s initial launch, there has been a notable shift in ownership patterns, with nearly all units now self-driven, compared to just 30 per cent at launch. The model has helped drive down the average age of Rolls-Royce owners from 56 in 2010 to 43 today.

Inside, the Cullinan Series II sports a glass-panel dashboard fascia that spans the vehicle s width with enhanced connectivity options. Rear-seat passengers benefit from individual entertainment screens, Bluetooth headphone support and controls for seat massage and climate functions. A Wi-Fi hotspot and 18-speaker audio system complete the cabin s luxury tech offerings

The Illuminated Fascia, a feature previously seen in models like the Ghost, makes its Cullinan debut in the Series II. This customisable panel, which lights up with the Cullinan name and a cityscape design, can be tailored to customer preferences, offering another layer of personal expression in the luxury SUV.
