Responding to a question raised by Shashwat Goenka, vice-chairman of RP-SG Group, Dinesh said the East has to take the lead in building the capacity both on the digital front and on the skill front.

Goenka, who was named the deputy chairman of CII Eastern Region Council for the years 2024-25, asked what could be the roadmap for east to be future ready.

In reply, Chandrajit Banerjee, director general of CII, said upskilling would be a key area. He along with Dinesh emphasised that logistic development should be a key area.
