Maruti Suzuki India is partnering two companies in the National Capital Region (NCR) to ramp up their production of Oxygen PSA plants.
Maruti is working with Airox Nigen Equipments Pvt Ltd and SAM Gas Projects Pvt Ltd, which are flooded with orders but have a capacity to manufacture just five to eight plants a month.
India’s No. 1 car company started discussions with the companies from May 1 and quickly reached an understanding with them. “While technology, quality and performance, as well as all commercial matters, would remain the responsibility of the two companies, MSIL and its vendors would use their capabilities to rapidly scale up production. MSIL’s involvement would be on a no profit basis,” said a company spokesman.
