Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has reported a 24 per cent decline in sales at 1,38,335 units in October. The company had sold 1,82,448 units in October last year.
Domestic sales slipped 32 per cent to 1,17,013 units last month against 1,72,862 units in September 2020.
Hyundai Motor India registered domestic sales of 37,021 units and export of 6 535 units with cumulative sales of 43,556 units for the month of October 2021.
Tata Motors logged in a 31 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise and a 16 per cent month-on-month growth in its total sales. Tata Motors sold a total 67,829 vehicles in the domestic and international markets in October 2021. The automaker sold 59,156 units in September 2021 and 52,132 units in October 2020, respectively.
Mahindra said its overall auto sales for the month of October 2021 stood at 41,908 vehicles. Nissan India’s domestic wholesales rose over three-fold to 3,913 units in October, up from 1,105 units a year ago.
Skoda reported a two-fold jump in sales in India at 3,065 units in October 2021.
