Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) is betting on the entry-level segment to rev up sales as it gears up to launch the mini SUV S-Presso later this month.
The company said the indigenously conceived, designed and developed vehicle is made for India as well as the other countries.
The S-Presso will be sold from the Arena dealership channel of the company and will be the second product after compact SUV Vitara Brezza to be designed and developed in India.
The company is scheduled to introduce the new car on September 30.
This will be the first hatchback to be launched by the company after Ignis in 2017 and is expected to compete with Renault Kwid.
