Among the remarkable success stories is a 15-year-old Bangladeshi girl suffering from scoliosis, a spinal structural problem. She underwent the first-of-its-kind robotic scoliosis correction surgery in South India, demonstrating the hospital's commitment to pushing the boundaries of medical innovation.

Another testament to Manipal Hospital's success is the case of a 70-year-old man who had previously undergone surgery for a T-gen lumbar problem. The hospital successfully cured him through a thoracolumbar fusion procedure utilizing S2-ILEX screws, showcasing the versatility of robotic interventions.

Manipal Spine Care Center, at the forefront of spine healthcare for over 15 years, has conducted more than 15,000 successful spine surgeries. Annually, the center performs 1,000 successful surgeries out of 25,000 OPD cases. Notably, 40% of the patients benefiting from this service hail from West Bengal and the North.

The Manipal Institute of Robotic Spine Surgery (MIRSS) has achieved a significant milestone by completing 50 surgeries in its inaugural month. These surgeries, performed on patients aged 15 to 85 years, utilized state-of-the-art technology, including an operating table with 3-D imaging, O-arm, and a radiolucent Purba Majorx robot, underscoring Manipal Hospital's commitment to cutting-edge medical practices.
