Honasa Consumer, the parent of FMCG brands such as Mamaearth and The Derma Co., on Tuesday made a dull debut on the bourses, as it listed with a premium of nearly 2 per cent to the issue price.
Honasa Consumer opened at Rs 330 on the NSE, a premium of 1.85 per cent over its issue price of Rs 324 and subsequently ended the day at Rs 337.30, thus marking a gain of 4.10 per cent.
Around 3,01,26,205 shares were traded at the exchange and based on the closing price, the company had a market cap of nearly Rs 10,852.52 crore.
The opening was muted on the BSE as well where it began at Rs 324 and hit a high of Rs 340.
Later, Honasa Consumer settled at Rs 337.15, which denoted a premium of over four per cent to the issue price.
Ahead of the listing, trends in the grey market indicated that Honasa Consumer
would list at a premium of 8 per cent.
