Maantic serves around 35 clients globally and plans to expand its footprint further.

“We are currently working with Fortune 10 and Fortune 500 companies across key markets such as North America, Canada and India. We are now planning to expand our footprints in other geographies such as West Asia and Europe and will ramp up our hiring,” said Harry Iyer, founder and CEO, Maantic Inc.

“Today offshore units can not only help in cost reduction but also in delivering quality services,” Iyer said.

“Calcutta has an abundance of tech talent, excellent work culture and it also ranks higher in the global affordability index. Given these parameters, we believe Calcutta will soon be our biggest talent hub to service global clients,” he said.

In India, the company is looking to add more offshore development centres, and locations such as Bangalore and Hyderabad are on the radar.

“The primary reason to set up the new office in Calcutta is to tap the talent available in the region. We will initially cater to Digital Process Automation(BPM, RPA) and cloud services, CRM from our Calcuttacentre and will subsequently introduce other practices in aphased manner,” said Shirsendu Sengupta, Calcutta centre head and global head — digital process automation, Maantic.
