Lamborghini unveiled its first hybrid, the Sian, at the Frankfurt Auto Show 2019. The Sian is the fastest and most powerful Lamborghini till date With a 785 horsepower V12 engine and a 34 horsepower electric motor, the hybrid produces a combined thermal and electric power of 819 horsepower (602 kilowatts).

On whether the Sian will come to India, Agarwal said: “The Sian was a limited edition car with only 63 units produced. Our future models will be hybrids which will come to India.”

On the impact of the economic slowdown on the luxury segment, Agarwal said: “Market sentiments are not good and so there is controlled spending. Despite such challenges, we managed to have a good year. This is because we are getting cars faster in the country.”
