Kia to offer four models

Kia Motors Corporation hopes that its foray into India will propel its global production to 4.1 million units per year.

“We hope that the Indian market will have a positive impact on Kia’s global success and will play a crucial role in its global strategy,” said Han Woo Park, president and CEO of Kia Motors Corporation.

At the global premiere of the Kia Seltos, an SUV, in New Delhi on Thursday, Park said that the Indian market was a unique one.

“We are committed to launching four models that will be manufactured in India in the next two years. And we have invested a total of Rs 1,400 crore in the country,” the Kia Motors chief said.
