City-based Kankaria group, which has businesses across real estate, jute and textiles, has forayed into flexible workspaces but with a difference.

Under Workbravo, in addition to flexible office space, the group will offer dedicated business concierge services that include facilities ranging from the registration of companies, legal support and tax consulting to even finding land for setting up large-scale industry for entrepreneurs exploring expansion in Bengal.

The company has developed 12,500 square feet of workspace area at Kankaria Estate on Russel Street which is ready for businesses to move in and there is a plan to scale up to 40,000 sq ft by 2023. Besides office space, there are facilities such as seminar spaces, conference rooms, an art gallery, cafeterias, and a leisure zone.

“How we are different is we run a full business concierge for the people who work out of Workbravo. It will make it easier for anyone who wishes to come to Bengal and setup their business here,” said Yogesh Kankaria, founder of Workbravo.

He said that instead of going to multiple places to figure out the requirement to start a business, entrepreneurs could find multiple services available under one roof.

“The idea is to enable the entrepreneurs with all the processes so that their time is saved,” said Kankaria. Currently, the group is offering 150 seats and the plan involves scaling up to 700-800 seats. The group is also exploring opportunities to scale up to other parts of Bengal.

“We have seen interest from the legal community, from mutual funds and from startups and cloud-based companies,” said Kankaria.
