Initial public offering of JSW Infrastructure subscribes 37.37 times on last day of bidding

IPO receives bids for 509.3 crore shares against 13.6 crore shares on offer, according to NSE data

The initial public offering (IPO) of JSW Infrastructure, part of JSW Group, was subscribed 37.37 times on the last day of bidding on Wednesday.

The IPO received bids for 509.3 crore shares against 13.6 crore shares on offer, according to NSE data.

The portion allotted for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was subscribed 57.09 times, while the quota for non-institutional investors received 15.99 times subscriptions.

The category for retail individual investors was subscribed 10.31 times.

The IPO of up to Rs 2,800 crore had a price range of Rs 113-119 a share. The public issue was entirely a fresh issue of equity shares.

JSW Infrastructure on Friday collected Rs 1,260 crore from anchor investors.

JSW Infrastructure, a port-related infrastructure company, provides maritime-related services, including cargo handling, storage solutions, logistics services, and other value-added services to its customers.

Proceeds of the issue to the tune of Rs 880 crore will be used to repay debt, Rs 865.75 crore to finance capital expenditure requirements for an LPG terminal project, Rs 59.4 crore for setting up an electric sub-station, as per the circular.

Meanwhile, JSW Steel on Wednesday announced acquiring the remaining 50 per cent stake in NSL Green Steel Recycling Limited.

Post completion of the acquisition, NSL has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, JSW Steel said in a regulatory filing.

Signature Global

Shares of Signature Global (India) on Wednesday ended with a premium of 19 per cent against the issue price of Rs 385.

The stock made its debut at Rs 445, up 15.58 per cent from the issue price on the BSE. During the day, it jumped 22.97 per cent to Rs 473.45. It finally ended at Rs 458.40, rallying 19.06 per cent.

On the NSE, it listed at Rs 444, registering a jump of 15.32 per cent. The stock ended at Rs 456.55, up 18.58 per cent.

The company commanded a market valuation of Rs 6,441.01 crore.
