The Covid-19 pandemic, the biggest global crisis since the Second World War, was disruptive. It affected society and the economy but it also gave rise to a new breed of leaders armed with a renewed vision to create a sustainable future.
With talent, foresight, dedication and digital transformation, these change makers are creating an impact by steering their organisations and communities through uncharted waters.
The 21st edition of Infocom, the flagship B2B conference of the ABP Group, has an apt theme — The Age of Change Makers — where there will be deliberations on how these leaders are driving a change in the new normal by forging new paths to lead the way forward.
Infocom is one of the largest congregations of technology professionals, corporate leaders, academics, visionaries and policy makers. This year, the annual conference will be held from December 1 to 3.
C.V. Ananda Bose, Governor of Bengal, will address the delegates as the chief guest.
Dhruba Mukherjee, CEO of ABP Pvt Ltd, said: “We are delighted to present the 21st edition of Infocom to the IT and ITES community worldwide. The pandemic affected every aspect of our lives and it affected Infocom too. Yet we did not let it break its continuity and Infocom happened in a digital format for the last two years.
“We were resolved to bring it back to its physical form at the earliest opportunity and we are happy to be able to do so this year, which is particularly a milestone year for the ABP group as it celebrates its centenary. I am hopeful that through the three-day conference we will be able to chart out a robust road map for the IT and ITES journey in the country and in Bengal.
The event will bring together more than 1000 plus delegates from large corporates, IT, SMEs and the government with over 100 speakers from business, IT, government and SMEs and over 50 sessions.
More than 250 top CIOs/ CISOs from across India, Bangladesh and other Saarc countries are taking part in the event out of which top 50 will be recognised who have turned adversity into opportunity.
Bengal’s department of IT and electronics and Webel are partnering Infocom 2022 as the host state. The event is being supported by Tie Kolkata, Nasscom, CIO Klub and Saarc Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
The event will also have spotlight sessions with legendary cricketers Sunil Gavaskar and Gundappa Viswanath and will host author Devdutt Pattanaik.
