Hindalco Industries on Friday reported a 31.6 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at ₹3,174 crore for the March quarter on the back of stronger margins and volumes across aluminium and copper business segments.

The company had posted a net profit of ₹2,411 crore in the year-ago period.

Ashok Leyland

Ashok Leyland has reported a 16.73 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at ₹933.69 crore in the March quarter against a net profit of ₹799.87 crore a year ago.

Revenue from operations stood at ₹13,577.58 crore compared with ₹13,202.55 crore in the year-ago period.

Torrent Pharma

Torrent Pharmaceuticals has reported a 56.45 per cent jump in consolidated net profit to ₹449 crore in the March quarter against a profit of ₹287 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal. Consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹2,745 crore against ₹2,491 crore in the year-ago period.

United Spirits

United Spirits has reported a two-fold increase in consolidated net profit to ₹241 crore for the March quarter against a net profit of ₹102 crore in the year-ago period.

Bosch net up 41%

Bosch on Friday reported a 41 per cent increase in consolidated net profit after tax at ₹564 crore for the March quarter against a net profit of ₹399 crore a year ago.
