Godrej Appliances is eyeing a topline of ₹8,000 crore in 2024-25 on the back of product launches and a stable demand in the second half of the fiscal.
“Last year, pan India we crossed ₹6,000 crore and this year our target is to cross ₹8,000 crore. We have grown 60 per cent in the first quarter and in the second quarter, the way we have been growing we feel that 40 per cent is possible. So overall we can grow more than 35-40 per cent. If we grow by that we would be very close to becoming a $1 billion company in FY25,” said Kamal Nandi, business head and executive vice-president, Godrej Appliances.
“About 33 new SKUs are getting launched across categories largely focusing on the premium segment. Our expectation is that the festival season will do very well. AC demand continues in north and also in east and other categories have started picking up,” he said adding that the company is seeing traction in tier 2, tier 3 and rural markets.
The company also expects to increase its market share in Bengal across the three categories — air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines.
