“Workshops will also start operating following government guidelines on hygiene and social distancing,” Lamborghini India chief Sharad Agarwal told The Telegraph on phone.

The company recently had a global virtual launch of the Huracan Evo RWD Spyder using augmentative reality (AR).

“It was a different experience where Apple devices could be used to experience the car upfront in your home. It was an innovative digital launch, something very different, cutting out the clutter,” said Agarwal.

The new Lamborghini will have a launch in India soon. The new V10 Huracan Evo RWD Spyder provides 610hp (449kW) of power and 560 Nm of torque. It does a 0-100 km per hours acceleration in just 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 324 km per hour.

Talking about recovery, Agarwal said, “These are uncertain times, challenging times and it’s very difficult to forecast. There is a change in customer priorities.” When asked if there have been cancellations of bookings, Agarwal said there was no such cancellations.
