Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals, Kolkata, introduces two convenient services – Sunday OPD and Evening Clinic. Many individuals, despite being unwell, are unable to visit the doctor in the morning due to their hectic schedules. Apollo Hospitals, Kolkata, has launched this initiative specifically to cater to these individuals and make healthcare more accessible to all.

Dr. Jai Ranjan Ram, Senior Consultant psychiatrist at Apollo Hospitals, Kolkata, highlighted the importance of these services in an interview with Anandabazar.com, “We have introduced this initiative to ensure people receive proper care. Our Evening Clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 8 pm. Additionally, our Sunday OPD services are available from 10 am to 1 pm.”

Dr Ram further added, “Many hospitals in Kolkata offer special services in the morning, which was also the case at Apollo until recently. However, this often resulted in delayed medical attention for patients due to their busy schedules. This initiative aims to address that issue. Moreover, our Sunday OPD and Evening Clinic services offer facilities for blood tests and various other services, enabling patients to visit doctors during non-working hours.”

Apollo Hospitals, Kolkata, has also started its health check-up services on Sundays as well, which was previously not available.
