Leader of opposition in the Assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the CBI row on Thursday, a day after the Centre sent the agency’s director Alok Kumar Verma on leave in an unparalleled midnight operation that critics described as a panic reaction to enquiries on the Rafale aircraft deal.

Tejashwi also came up with creative full forms for the abbreviation of the probe agency. “Central BJP Intruders (CBI) have virtually taken over Caged Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to save Corrupt Brokers of India (CBI) through it’s Criminal Barter Interrogation (CBI) by its Crooked Bureaucrats of Incompetence (CBI). Its CBI Vs CBI,” Tejashwi said in the press note issued on Thursday afternoon.

“Spy and Snoop in India is the only successful scheme of Modiji. On PMO’s (Prime Minister’s Office’s) directions CBI and IB (intelligence bureau) are on infiltrating spree for the benefit of Modiji.”

Tejashwi said the Modi government is frustrated after having failed on every front, and that frustration is coming out via raids on government offices such as the CBI.

“Unemployment, inflation and corruption are at their peak. Jobs, trade and development have taken the backseat and youths are angry. When the demonetisation and GST backfired, Modi government raided houses of Opposition leaders with the help of his corrupt officials. But when his appetite is filled... he has chosen to conduct raids at CBI headquarters by CBI officers. Modiji has started fights between the IB and CBI and RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) and CBI,” he alleged.

He alleged that the PMO has become the place where extortions are carried out.

Tejashwi also reacted to the Supreme Court slamming the Bihar government on Thursday over the Muzaffarpur shelter home rapes.

“(Key accused) Brajesh Thakur is an influential person,” Tejashwi said. “He anchors the election rallies of Nitishji. The CM visits his home, gives advertisements and grants to his newspapers and NGOs and in return 34 girls are gang-raped in state patronage.”
