Moreover, the Octavia RS iV can cover up to 55 kilometres (WLTP) in an all electric mode, which is without generating any local emissions. This new generation Octavia is due on the Indian shores only in 2021. Meanwhile in India, Skoda has brought only 200 units of the Octavia RS245 before the new variant is launched . Online bookings for the RS245 priced at Rs 35.99 lakh opened on March 1 from 12 noon through a centralized platform www.byskodaonline.co.in on payment of Rs 1 lakh and on a first-come-first-serve basis.

“India was a huge appreciator of the Octavia RS245. So before the model life phased out, the company decided to bring in 200 units for enthusiasts here,” said Zac Hollis, brand director Skoda Auto India.

These 200 units of the Octavia 245 are being introduced in the market after an overwhelming response from brand loyalists and enthusiasts across the nation,” said Zac Hollis, brand director Skoda Auto India.
