Sunny Deol faces off against Randeep Hooda’s antagonist in the teaser of Gopichand Malineni’s upcoming action film Jaat, dropped by Mythri Movie Makers on Friday.

Touted as a “mass feast”, the one-minute-27-second-long teaser kicks off with scenes of a group of men hung to death from a ceiling and criminals informing their leader about Sunny Deol’s character infiltrating their building in panic-stricken voices. Soon, Sunny makes his entry and fights off a bunch of goons single-handedly.

We see scenes of Sunny breaking into a building and unleashing hell on the criminals. As is often seen in his action films like Gadar, Sunny breaks bones using unusual weapons like ceiling fan, dumbbells and barbells.

At the end of the teaser, we get a glimpse of Randeep Hooda’s antagonist, who stops a giant lion statue from falling with his hands before engaging in an epic showdown with Sunny.

Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film also features Vineet Kumar Singh, Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher and Swarupa Ghosh. Jaat is touted as an action spectacle likely to resonate strongly with Sunny Deol's fan base.

Jaat is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers and TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory. Music for the film is scored by Thaman S.

Sunny is currently gearing up for Lahore 1947 and Border 2. Lahore 1947, also starring Preity Zinta and backed by Aamir Khan Productions, is a Rajkumar Santoshi directorial. The film is slated to hit theatres in the first half of next year.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Sunny’s Border 2 also stars Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in pivotal roles.
