Actress Deepika Padukone joined singer Diljit Dosanjh on stage during his Bengaluru concert on Friday in her first public appearance after childbirth.
Thirty-eight-year-old Deepika, who welcomed daughter Dua with actor Ranveer Singh on September 8, grooved along to Diljit’s Lover song in a white graphic shirt.
Sharing a video of the actress from the concert, the Punjabi singer wrote, “Queen 👸🏻 @deepikapadukone On DIL-LUMINATI TOUR IN BENGALURU 🫶🏽 Year 24 🪷.”
The video begins with Diljit holding Deepika’s self-care brand in his hand and asking fans whether they know whose product it is. While giving everyone hints, the Hass Hass singer says that he uses the product every day, which makes fans burst into laughter.
Soon, Deepika joins Diljit on stage and grooves along to his songs. “Thank you so much guys. Kitna pyaara inhone kaam kiya hai. Humne inhe bade parde par dekha hai. Itni pyaare, apne dum pe jinhone jagah banai hai Bollywood mein. Aap sab ko fakr hona chahiye, hum sab ko fakr hai,” he says as he speaks about Deepika.
Another video shared by Saregama on Instagram shows Deepika enjoying the concert. “We had a special guest this evening in #Bengaluru 💓💓,” the official page of Saregama wrote alongside the video.
Deepika and her husband, Ranveer Singh, welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Dua, on September 8. The couple had announced their pregnancy through an Instagram post on February 29.
After starring in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter, Deepika was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, which hit theatres on November 1. Last year, she shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in Pathaan and Jawan.
Diljit’s Dil-Luminati tour kicked off on April 27 in Vancouver, following which he performed in Illinois, Chicago, California and other cities in North America. The India leg of his tour is set to conclude on December 29 in Guwahati.
On the acting front, Diljit will be next seen in Border 2, which also features Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. He recently sang the title track of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Pitbull.
