The University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2023) December registration window is set to close tomorrow, on October 31. However, candidates still have an opportunity to make corrections to their application forms as the National Testing Agency (NTA) will initiate the UGC NET application form correction 2023 window on November 1 at the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
According to the revised schedule, the window for form editing will remain open until November 3. Those candidates who have used Aadhaar card verification during application can make changes to either their father's or mother's name. However, certain details, including mobile number, email address, date of birth, and name, will remain uneditable.
The UGC NET 2023 examination for Junior Research Fellowship and assistant professor positions is scheduled to take place from December 6 to 22. Application fees for different categories are as follows: General category candidates - Rs 1,150, OBC-NCL and General EWS - Rs 600, and SC, ST, and third gender applicants - Rs 325.
To meet the eligibility criteria, General category candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in both papers combined, while OBC, SC, and ST aspirants need to attain 35% marks in both papers to be considered qualified.
