Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM ) recently handed the entire Multi-Media E-Learning content from class I-X to the Govt of Mizoram. While handing over the content to PI Laldawangliani Chawngthu, Director, SCERT, Mizoram and DR. Lalrozami, Program Coordinator, SCERT, Mizoram, Mr. Shekhar Mehta, President of Rotary International (2021-22) informed that Rotary India Literacy Mission has already been reached to millions of children through their E-Learning program across India.
RILM provided the entire content for the 12 PMeVidya Channels on National Television during the pandemic. Millions of children benefited from watching this content on TV during the pandemic, helping them not to lose out on learning opportunities.
Now that the GOI is launching 200 PMeVidya Channels through different states, RILM is providing this content to individual states as well. The content will be telecast in various PM-eVidya channels as well as on Diksha portal in Mizoram.
This content has been developed by Rotary India Literacy Mission and has already been approved by the NCERT and it is completely mapped with NCERT guided syllabus.
Rotary in India has taken up the Mission to bring 'Total Literacy and Quality Education' in India through its 'T-E-A-C-H' Program, comprising components titled 'Teacher Support'; 'E-learning'; 'Adult Literacy'; 'Child Development' and 'Happy Schools'.
