The Ph.D. admissions procedure for 2023 has started at Pondicherry University. Candidates who meet the requirements must take the Pondicherry University Ph.D. entrance test in order to be considered for admission for the 2023–24 academic year.
Application materials for Pondicherry University must be submitted online at pondiuni.edu.in. Students in the unreserved category must pay an application fee of Rs 1,000, while those in the SC and ST categories must pay Rs 500. Transgender people and those in the physically handicapped group are excused from paying the registration cost.
The deadline to submit an application for any of the university's several Ph.D. degrees is June 29, 2023. Candidates must select three exam sites in the order of their selection for the form. The university will assign an exam centre for the admission exam based on the selections made.
According to the selection criteria, the Pondicherry University PhD admission exam will receive 70% of the weight, while the personal interview and academic record will receive 30% of the weight.
