Kandor to conduct public speaking event at RD National College

RD National College, Bandra, Mumbai will be hosting a public speaking event by Kandor Institute, the public speaking and leadership institute, on January 23 from 4pm to 5.30pm.

The chief guest for the event will be Mrunalini Deshmukh, a celebrity lawyer who has handled various high profile cases regarding divorce and ancillary issues of custody and maintenance. Given the volume of international cases in her career, Deshmukh has mastered obtaining mirror orders from Indian courts for matters under foreign jurisdiction. She is a TEDx speaker and an author, her book named “BREAKING UP - Your Guide to Getting Divorced”. She will be sharing her journey and what it takes to be a famous lawyer. She will also talk about what leadership skills one must have to be successful in any industry.

The event is taking place after five Sundays of hardcore training of the candidates, who will also be delivering their final speech at an auditorium. The training sessions included several aspects, one of which was to develop public speaking skills, choosing the right content and how to hold a strong conversation.

They were also offered guidance for group discussions on a number of current and important topics, body language and platform presence, impromptu speeches and many such aspects to make them able to address an audience.

The event will have young speakers talking about significant issues, and is open to all. It will be streamed live on various social media platforms.

Kandor provides public speaking and leadership training to corporate employees, start-up founders, NGO volunteers, entrepreneurs and students. There are currently four verticals—public speaking and training programmes, book reading sessions, corporate leadership programs (fixed, customised and hybrid), and personal leadership for business owners and career-oriented individuals.
