Former US President Donald Trump is vying to retake office in the upcoming 2024 elections.

But there's a setback he has to deal with first.

Jurors decided on Tuesday that Donald Trump sexually abused magazine writer E. Jean Carroll in the 1990s and then defamed her by branding her a liar.

The jury has ordered Trump to pay Carroll USD 5 million after finding him liable for sexual assault, defamation, according to a report by Associated Press.
