South Korea court to hold first arguments in President Yoon Suk Yeol impeachment trial on January 14

South Korea's Constitutional Court said on Friday it will hold first arguments on Jan. 14 in a trial to decide whether to oust President Yoon Suk Yeol.

Yoon is required to appear for the first arguments.

The court said it has planned a second session for Jan. 16 in case Yoon refuses to appear for the first arguments.
